What is Life Coaching?
Life coaching is a means to your goals. It is one of many ways that high-functioning people can take the next steps in moving from "good" to "great". Much in the same way a sports coach can help you up-level your game, a life coach can help you up-level your life.
Through weekly virtual 1:1 sessions, you and I will identify where you are now and what you want to move toward. Together we’ll identify your thoughts, belief systems, what is most meaningful to you, and what is standing between you and a more meaningful relationship with your children. (Spoiler alert: it's your brain and a whole lot of cultural conditioning.) We will focus on your future and you’ll learn how to believe new things about yourself and you kids rather than rehash the stories of your past.
I will provide you with...
What Coaching Is NOT
While coaching can be a helpful adjunct to the work you do with a licensed counselor, therapist, or psychologist, it is in NO WAY a substitute for these therapies. While I am a physician, I am not your physician, nor am I a licensed therapist. The information I present and conversations we share are emphatically not medical advice and should not be construed as such. Please review our disclaimer
I’m not here to tell what you should do or what’s best for you. There is no way I could ever know that even if I wanted to. As your coach, the only advice I will ever offer you is to ask yourself for the advice you are seeking.
I promise you, you already know your own answers.
This work is not about choosing happy thoughts so you can feel better. (Though we may do that at times.) It's about choosing thoughts and emotions on purpose in a way that aligns with your Highest Self. Coaching is meeting you and your brain exactly where you are and growing from there.
